Friday, 13th November 2009- Leaving Koh Phagnan

Leaving Koh Phagnan was a little sad. It had become our home for a little while. Sea, the lady owner was great. There was nothing she would not do for us. She really looked after us and made us feel really special. Also the beach was amazing and our huts or bungalows were lush.
Sea, drove us to the port to get the boat across to Surattani. The boat ride was comfortable and uneventful. We managed to catch a few rays on the deck of the boat. When we got off the boat in Surrattani we were hearded into a waiting bus. The bus was packed! There was not enough seats for everyone. I was squashed on the back seat between Rachel and Katy. The seat was uncomfortable and the air-con above our head was leaking and dripping on me.

After about an hour we were dropped off at a 'bus terminal'. They call it a bus terminal but really it is just a bit of shade sum plastic seats and you just wait for your connecting ride. Our connecting ride was a little MPV for about two hours to the 'bus terminal' in Krabi. We arranged for the place we were staying to pick us up from the 'bus terminal'. They arrived with a pick-up. We jumped in the back and headed to hotel room.
